Senior Ellen East (Pomerene, AZ, Benson High School, Yavapai Community College) was selected to the Lady Buff Classic All-Tournament Team, the West Texas A&M Media Relations assistant director announced today.

East recorded nine service aces this weekend. Four of those aces came in a loss to Lubbock Christian University Friday evening. Three more came in the win over the University of Texas of the Permian Basin Saturday afternoon. Overall, she averaged .69 aces per set.

The lone senior also led the team in assists, handing out 86. Her best setting match was versus Permian Basin. She dished out 29. She finished this weekend averaging 6.14 assists per set.

This is East's first award of the season.

The Mustangs finished this weekend at .500. They captured wins over Permian Basin and Southwest Oklahoma State University.
