The WNMU softball program will host the first annual WNMU Softball Alumni Weekend this Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. WNMU boasts a successful softball history, starting with the 1997 inaugural team. Share your stories with the current players of the blood, sweat, tears, and laughs that went into putting this program on the map.

On Saturday, former softball teammates and coaches will reconnect at a barbeque held at the softball field following the Mustang home football game. Kickoff for the football game is set for 1:00 p.m.

Sunday will begin with a breakfast social at the softball field at 10:00 a.m. A game featuring the 1997-2009 Alumni Team vs. the 2009-2010 Softball Team will follow at 11:00 a.m. Just prior to the game, three past softball All-Americans will be honored (Holly Justice, P, 2000, 2001; Shellie Broyles, SS, 2003; and Angela Slaugh, P, 2004). Fans who supported the teams along the way, including no. 1 fans Bill and Patsy Miller, will also receive recognition.
