The WNMU women's tennis team wasn't strong enough to hold back the Northern Arizona team. The Mustangs dropped their third match of the season, 7-0.

NAU had a good start in doubles, sweeping the three doubles match. Nikolina Vukadin (Pale, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sredwjoskolski Centar Pale) and Doris Berberic (Lower Hutt, New Zealand, Hutt Valley High School) had the closest doubles match but fell in the end, 8-3.

NAU stayed consistent going into the singles matches, winning all six as well. Vukadin fought through but wasn't able to come up with the win as she lost in two straight sets, 6-3 and 6-2. Berberic also had her chances but, like her teammate, fell in two straight sets, 6-2 and 6-2.

“Today was definitely a tough match; however, it was good for the girls to get some experience playing against NCAA Division I teams,” says assistant tennis coach Carolina Hannes.
