KEARNEY, Neb. – Sophomore outside hitter Angelina Pulu (Long Beach, CA/Robert A. Millikan High School) (Long Beach, Calif.) was named to the RMAC All-Tournament Team Saturday as the tournament wrapped up with Nebraska-Kearney taking the title over Metro State in three.


Pulu led the Mustangs in both tournament matches, as she opened the tourney with 18 kills and 13 digs against New Mexico Highlands, before adding to that a 17 kill, 17 dig performance against No. 11 Metro State Friday night.


Pulu finished the season playing in all 113 sets, leading the team in kills (426) and digs (414), while adding 28 service aces, 33 assists and 55 blocks, nine solo.


She was also named to the All-RMAC First-Team earlier in the week, marking the second straight season in which she has made one of the teams, landing on the Third-Team as a freshman.
