Pulu Selected to First-Team All-RMAC

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Sophomore outside hitter Angelina Pulu (Long Beach, CA/Robert A. Millikan High School) (Long Beach, Calif.) was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference first-team squad as announced by the conference office Tuesday.


Pulu, the only Mustang to land on the list of three teams and was one of only two sophomores on the first-team unit along with Nebraska-Kearney's Haley Lake.


For the season, she leads the team in kills with 391, service aces (26), and digs (384). In addition to those numbers, she has also added 55 total blocks, with nine solo, and 32 assists in playing 106 sets this season.


This is the second season she has landed n the list, having been selected to the third-team a year ago.


WNMU will battle New Mexico Highlands tonight in the quarterfinal round of the RMAC Tournament inside Drag's Court with gametime set for 7 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the Metro State/Colorado School of Mines matchup Friday in the semifinal round at a site to be determined depending on the results from the matches tonight.
