COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second straight season,
Angelina Pulu (Long Beach, CA/Robert A. Millikan High School) has been named to the First-Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference squad as the teams were announced by the conference office Tuesday.
Pulu was named to the Preseason All-Conference team and she backed it up with another stellar campaign. She led the team and the RMAC in kills with 455, kills per set with 4.17. She also led the Lady Mustangs in digs with 406, averaging 3.72 per set. In addition, she was amongst the team leaders in blocks with 52, including 14 solo and led the team in service aces with 21.
She had 19 double-doubles in kills and digs throughout the season. She posted six, 20-kill efforts and four, 20-dig efforts. Her high in kills of 27 came against Fort Lewis, while her top dig tally was posted against CSU-Pueblo with 29.
Pulu and the rest of the Lady Mustangs will play at Regis tonight in the quarterfinal round of the RMAC Tournament beginning at 8 p.m.
