Dodson to Wear Mustang Jersey
Head Coach Scott Woodard
Head Softball Coach Scott Woodard
Head softball coach Scott Woodard announced the signing of his third pitcher for the 2010 season on Tuesday. Hannah Dodson (Alpine, TX) will make the transition from Odessa College to Western New Mexico University this fall.

At 5-5, Dodson combined for a 22-15 pitching record over the past two years as a Wrangler. This past season she posted a 3.93 ERA in 124.2 innings pitched. She also posted two shutouts to help lead her team to a Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) Championship. For her efforts, she was named a WJCAC All-Conference selection. She also received the same award in 2008.

“Hannah is a no-nonsense player that is mentally tough and finds ways to win in the circle,” says Woodard. “She helped pitch them to the World Series in 2009 while winning games in crucial situations. She has learned to pitch and not just throw.”
