WNMU shot a third-round 298 to remain in fourth place Tuesday morning at the CSU-Bakersfield Elco Invitational. The Mustangs tacked on just three more shots than third place Western Washington. WNMU finished with a three-round total of 889 (300-291-298). CSU-Stanislaus held on to win the tournament, shooting an 868 in the two-day event. CSU-Bakersfield, the host, placed second, six strokes back at 874.

Scott Crichton (Dalgety Bay, Scotland, Inverkeithing High School) finished in fourth place to lead the WNMU golfers. The senior posted a three-round total of 215 (75-70-70).

Joon Lee (Seoul, South Korea, Guildford Park Secondary) was not far back as he earned the 15th (T) spot, shooting 222. Lee added one stroke to each of his rounds (73-74-75).

Steven Maxwell (Glasgow, Scotland, Bearsden Academy) followed behind Lee with a total score of 227 and a 29th place finish.
